Season's Greetings

Season's Greetings from the Melbourne Stem Cell Centre team. 

The team at Melbourne Stem Cell Centre would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe 2017! Below is our Christmas Newsletter. It gives you a snap shot of what has happened at the clinic this year, our clinic closing hours and the plans for 2017.

2016 Snapshot

MSCC released its initial outcome results for trials on knee osteoarthritis and chondral defects. For more information please click here.

Dr Matt Chamberlain joined the MSCC team. For more information please click here.

We successfully recruited for our randomised control trial and closed the recruitment phase of this study. We are hoping to have our results ready at the end of 2017. We are still treating patients under our patient funded case series. For further information please click here to contact the clinic.

Closing times

Dr Julien Freitag – on leave from Tuesday 20th December 2016 until Monday the 9th January 2017.

Dr Dan Bates – on leave from Friday 16th December 2016 until Thursday 12th January 2017.

Dr Leesa Huguenin – on leave from 1st December 2016 until 1st February 2017.

Dr Matt Chamberlain – on leave from Wednesday 14th December 2016 until Tuesday 10th January 2017.

The clinic will be closed from Thursday 22nd December and will re-open on Wednesday 4th January 2017.

2017 Plans

In 2017 we plan to continue to gather data for our osteoarthritis research. If you would like to keep up to date with this please subscribe here.
